Welcome
to Rarotonga (Cook Islands) and to Aroanui Cottages. "Aroa"
means love/caring and "nui" means a lot/big.
Aroanui Cottages is a group of three two-bedroom, modern, self-contained and recently built cottages located in Arorangi on the Western side.
The cottages are not on the beach but it is only a short 3-minutes walk to the main road then straight across to the beach. Excellent swimming can be enjoyed in the area or just relax on the warm, white sands at dusk and watch the ever-changing hues of a tropical sunset.Each cottage sleeps four adults comfortably but the three together will accommodate groups of up to 12 people. This is perfect for people coming to Rarotonga for weddings, birthdays, family reunions or simply just to have a good holiday - everyone can be together and yet have their own space.
A BBQ is available (shared among the three houses).

Thanks for all your little touches that have helped towards our having a wonderful visit to Rarotonga. The lovely island fruit was much appreciated, and of course the coconut opening. This cottage is very comfortable, with everything we required, and I particularly enjoyed having the lovely little patch of beach across the road. Who needs a resort?

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely and quiet accommodation surrounded by these lush green trees. We ate huge amounts of passion-fruits which we took from the plant every day. We have been to Rarotonga twice before. The first time to the Edgewater/Aitutaki/Rarotongan, and last year to the Pacific Resort. This time there was a group of 10 of us booked all 3 Aroanui Cottages, and had a great time, better than in the resorts we had previously been to.
